Wally's Place: Bagel bakery and deli baking fresh bagels and breads daily. Offering an extensive line of breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as sweet treats, using local ingredients from farm partners like Blue Heron Farm, Savage Gardens, Allenholm Farm, Crescent Bay Farm, and Hackett's Orchard. Zach's Cafe at the Gallery: Cafe at Grand Isle Artworks Gallery, serving lunch Wednesday through Saturday, dinner on Thursdays, and Sunday brunch. The chef uses local ingredients whenever possible, including greens, vegetables, meats, breads, and wine. 259 US Route 2, Grand Isle.
Champlain Islands Farmers' Market: Locally produced fruits, vegetables, fiber, flowers, meals, and art from Champlain Islands farmers, chefs, bakers, and artisans. Wednesdays from 3-6 pm in South Hero (St. Rose of Lima Church), Saturdays from 10 am-2 pm in Grand Isle (St. Joseph's Church), winter markets on Saturdays at the South Hero Congregational Church.
Grand Isle Artworks: A Vermont artisan gallery featuring hand work from Islands and VT artists. Also offering locally produced jams, sauces, maple syrup, specialty food, and fiber products. 259 US Route 2, Grand Isle.
Hero's Welcome: Local store offering fresh produce from the Islands, such as yelloe-eye beans, lettuce, corn, onions, radishes, ad blueberries. 3537 US Route 2, North Hero.
Keeler's Bay Variety: Local store offering locally produced wines, maple syrup, and pasta year round, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables seasonally. 500 US Route 2, South Hero.
Events and Catering
Grand Isle Lake House: Special events facility open May-October, using local produce from Pomykala Farm and Allenholm Farm. Also serving wines from Snow Farm Winery and ice cream from Island Homemade Ice Cream. East Shore Road, Grand Isle.
My Kid's Kitchen: Local family catering business producing baked goods, jams, pickles, and seasonal sweets sold through local stores, as well as catered meals for events. They partner with Hackett's Orchard, Pomykala Farm, Blue Heron Farm, and Savage Gardens for local ingredients, as well as using their own garden produce, honey, and maple syrup.
